This TR6060 Stage 1 Build Kit for the Cadillac CT-4/CT-5 includes all of the wear items which need to be replaced anytime the transmission is disassembled for repair.

Increased Transmission Durability

The synchronizer rings must be replaced since they have a friction lining that will eventually wear out. It’s labor-intensive to gain access to the internals of a transmission. The unit has to be removed, disassembled, reassembled, and re-installed. As such, it’s always good practice to replace all wear items. The replacement synchronizer rings are a revised carbon version. The original style of synchro ring is sintered metallic, and those are prone to overheating. With the carbon style, the chance of overheating is drastically reduced.
